Federal Government Accuses Union of Disseminating Misinformation

Feds Accuse Union of Spreading Misinformation Amidst Contract Negotiations

Ottawa – Tensions between the federal government and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) have escalated dramatically as contract negotiations continue to stall. The government has publicly accused PSAC of disseminating misinformation to its members and the public, further complicating the already strained relationship. While the union maintains its commitment to securing a fair deal for its 120,000 federal public service workers, the government alleges that PSAC’s communications are misrepresenting the facts and undermining the bargaining process.
