More false rescue claims surface weeks after Thai quake

The situation following the collapse of the Bdot Sky Tower in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 28, 2025, has been complex and filled with catches and lies. Thai authorities initially confirmed that 53 people were salvageable following the collapse of the under-construction building. However, false allegations and updated reports on this matter have gained traction, some of which have manipulated scarce footage to misrepresent the situation.

The majority of the survivors alive after the collapse reside in Zone B of a larger stain-shrouded building and regional Collaboration Area SAO, facing the collapse. Authorities have confirmed the recovery of 53 bodies while a further 41 remain missing.
