APC to Sue Sahara Reporters Over Alleged False Publication

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has taken legal steps against Sahara Reporters for a false and misleading report it claims was released by Governor Umar Namadi. The APC is emphasizing the importance of legal action to ensure continued publication of these false reports, which it describes as deliberate and misleading. Children of the party have labeled such practices as distractions from the administration’s development efforts, asserting that theakis of investigations and oversight should remain within the purview of governmental bodies, not external entities like Sahara Reporters.

The APC stands as a resolute leader in maintaining that false and misleading reports must not be published in public spaces without a proper hearing, regardless of their nature. The party’s Publicity Secretary, Bashir Kundu, acknowledged that Sahara Reporters’ claims about the contract awarded to Governor Umar Namadi, which included the delivery of 12 SUVs and luxury vehicles, were indeed false and intended to distract from the administration’s efforts to replenish IGR. Kundu further clarified that the vehicles, as seen at the Government House, were visitors, officials, and tourists, not part of the governor’s fleet.
