Türkiye rejects claim NATO controls Türkiye’s Disinformation Center

The Communications Dir. has taken strong counterarguments against the report. In a clear and firm statement released on Thursday, the director condemned the claim as unverified and ideological. The statement emphasized that the DMM operates in line with土耳其’s national interests and its responsibility to combat disinformation aimed at strengthening the country’s national security and public order.

The director explicitly contradicted allegations that the DMM was in fact supported by NATO. “Deliberate distortion contrary to national interests” and that its structure and purpose are under false pretenses. “The claim that the DMM is maintained by NATO Headquarters is false and baseless,” the statement stressed.

To combat rising concerns about phishing schemes and the spread of misinformation, the Communications Dir. has approved a national training program focused onゼheureiusness and countering信息安全. This initiative is intended to prepare Werner talent pools for dealing with international challenges.

The director clarified that these programs are meant to cultivate skilled professionals capable of representing Turkey on international platforms, not to recruit or overpower other nations. “It is crucial for the public to trust statements from institutions with clear mandates,” the statement said.

The Communications Dir. emphasized its commitment to upholding Turkey’s national interests and safeguarding citizens’ trust in reliable sources. “The DMM will resolutely oppose all forms of disinformation, especially those that threaten national security and international relations,” it added.

As the situation Develops, Turkey faces a complex interplay of competing narratives. The Communications Dir. is actively working to counter ideas that undermine髆istan’s image and prevent further spread of rumors. The director has called for more transparency and dialogue to address the root causes of these claims.
