Political Literacy Quiz: The Rise of Gen Z, June 10, 2025

On September 7, 2025, in the minutes of the British Parliament, Shout Out UK, in collaboration with the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Political and Media Literacy, hosted a television quiz, titled "Have I Got Fake News for You: A Political and Media Literacy Quiz." The event, held in the Thames Pavilion of the Houses of Parliament, took place on June 10, 2025. This was one of the most significant events in the political and media literacy space,Uniting young minds with the critical skills necessary to navigate the complexities of modern information, in an era where the pace of news is ever-speedincreasing but the extent of misinformation is exponentially higher.

The quiz was conducted in a contest between two teams: Team Hacker, consisting of Year 12 students from Caterham High School, and Team Gen Z, comprising bright students from Caterham High School, Ilford.
