Dr. Georgia Rose Phillips, a published author and lecturer, describes AI-generated writing as “dispiriting.” She pinpoints the “stiffness of the tone,” the lack of “flair, a sense of originality or authenticity,” and the absence of a distinct “voice” as its defining characteristics.
