St. Clair County Schools respond to ‘substantial misinformation’ regarding alleged assault at school dance

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, ALABAMA (WBRC) –
On August 15th, a back-to-school dance was held at Odenville Middle School, and authorities reported that several girls involved in the event were reportedly involved in inappropriate behavior. The district’s response includes counseling for students who may have been affected by the alleged violence. St. John noted that the past week has been challenging for students at the school, and the district will continue to provide additional support as needed.
