No one-day lobster season in 2025, despite online misinformation

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWWC) has launched a formal counterattack against misleading information circulating online about the upcoming spiny lobster season. As of now, the season is set to begin on Wednesday, July 30, and Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Florida. This chaotic term may have led to confusion, as some sources claim it as a one-day event. However, according to official documents released today, there is no one-day spiny lobster season for Florida residents.
