NEET today, NTA cautions against rumours, misinformation

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which will conduct the National Eligibility Test for Undergraduation (NEET) examination (UG) 2025 across 5453 Testing Centers and 13 Cities in India on Sunday, has emphasized the importance of robust prevention measures to prevent any suspicion or leaks related to the examination. With over 22.7 lakh candidates registered for the examination, starting from today at 2 pm, NTA has begun meticulous preparations to ensure the safety and security of the candidates during this crucial phase. The examination was previously|”eb.Enumbraced” with allegations of paper leaks and malpractice last year, a matter that has shaken confidence in the process.

As part of its efforts to address this concern, the NTA has taken significant steps to ensure the examination meets stringent standards. The NTA Director General, Pradeep Singh Kharola, has stated that all arrangements for the NEET UG exam have been carefully planned to avoid any possibility of leaks or malpractice. More than 22.7 lakh candidates have registered for the exam, and mock drills have been conducted by the Testing Centers earlier today. These events are crucial in fostering confidence among participants and establishing the examination’s credibility.

To combat the rumors about the examination, the NTA has partnered with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (CICT) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. “This collaboration is designed to tackle more than 165 Telegram and Instagram channels that spread false information during the examination process,” Kharola explained. The NTA has initiated comprehensive investigations, revealing that over 32 Instagram handles and more than 165 Telegram pages, which have garnered over 3.5 lakh views, are associated with misinformation. These fake accounts have been tagged with URLs that NTA has assigned to track any further actions taken against them.

With this collaboration in place, the NTA aims to prevent anyOnce the exam hasprosecuted, the NTA advises students to solely trust the official channels on its website for notifications and information about the examination. The website will serve as the sole source for all important updates, ensuring transparency and openness, which are essential in a competitive exam environment.

Ultimately, the NTA has put in place a series of robust measures to ensure the smooth operation of the exam. From pre-marketing partnerships to comprehensive official communication strategies, the agency has demonstrated a high degree of responsibility and dedication to the safety and well-being of the candidates.
