Logically collapses after losing TikTok and Meta contracts

Logically, Inc. (formerly Arise Fact-checking) is the London-based fact-checking startup that has filed for administration. Founded in 2017 in response to the UK’sxorist’s Brexit vote AND Trump’s victory in the US, the company initially sought to address concerns about misinformation and conspiracy theories in the online space. It previously garnered multi-billion dollar contracts to combat the spread of such筐det messages, searching for an unflinching fight against biases, ignorance, AND propaganda.

However, the Guardian report revealed that Logically struggling to stay afloat after losing contracts with tech giants Facebook and TikTok raised concerns. As part of a broader political backlash, the companies rolled back previous initiatives designed to interrupt online misinformation, including anti-misinformation campaigns. This move came the same time as regulatory scrutiny over the company, particularly in the US, which highlighted concerns about potential_hyperפשרation.

In a move aimed at continuity, Logically’s assets have been transferred to another company, Kreatur, owned by Ashwin Kumaraswamy, a former director and early investor in the company. Kreatur notes that the acquisition ensures the safeguarding of Logically’s core technology, brand, and key roles over the years.
