Intel CEO responds to ‘misinformation’ and Trump threat in letter

Lip-Bu Tan, the former CEO of Intel, has reportedly paid close attention to Trump’s raising concerns about his work during his tenure. On Thursday, Tan wrote to his employees in a memo that he has consistently operated within the highest legal and ethical standards over the past 40 years. He expressed deep clarity about his transactions with industry executives and emphasized his belief that his actions have always been entirely aligned with the company’s mission. In a concerted effort, Tan addressed the situation, signaling that he would work with the White House to clarify the crisis and that he would support President Donald Trump’s commitment to advancing national and economic security. Tan also emphasized that his board has deemed him fully supportive of the company’s strategic and operational remodeling plans.
