Govt Refutes Fake Claims on EAM Jaishankar & Rajnath Singh, Warns Against Misinformation –

The government has dismissed several reports of authenticity from news outlets and social media platforms, highlighting that some individuals, including Dr. S. Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister of India, have claimed that authentic Chinese satellites assist in Pakistan’s activities. This stance has been widely condemned by the public and that guidance from the Press Information Bureau (PIB), monitoring the country’s international relations. The PIB clarified that the statement made by Dr. Jaishankar was a translation or misunderstanding, and it did not constitute a genuine assessment of any official reports. The government’s Objective Check Unit has issued a joint indoor warning, urging citizens to remain vigilant and not fall for false information. The dismissal is seen as a disappointing turn of events, given that the PIB’s usual efforts have been focused on investigating these claims.

Similarly, an unsubstantiated fake letter sent by the Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, to the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command is also on the radar.
