Thailand’s foreign secretary, Nikorndej Balankura, has declared that Cambodian’s use of social media platforms serves an inflammatory purpose, which is unfounded and misleading. Balankura claims that Cambodian officials, particularly within the military and political establishment, have repeatedly used social media to defuse tension, build momentum, and stir nationalist sentiment among the public. This behavior is, in fact, erroneous and detrimental to regional stability. Cambodian leaders have consistently been transparent, responsible, and focused on constructive solutions, such as promoting calm and maintaining good neighborly relations. Balankura’s comments do not reflect this Transparency and.png of diplomacy and communication, which have been instrumental in resolving conflicts and promoting peace between the two countries.

Cambodian social media behavior has been meticulously handled by the Cambodian government and leaders, fostering positive dialogue and cooperation. For instance, Cambodian officials have consistently communicated jointly with Thai authorities, emphasizing the importance of peace, dialogue, and promote people-to-people goodwill. This approach has not only deepened understanding and trust among nationalities but also contributed to regional cooperation and stability. Balankura’s remarks on Cambodian’s use of social media are a misrepresentation of the constructive efforts that have been made in promoting peaceful interactions and dialogue.

Contenders for the seat of Phnom Pmon make a commendable statement in his own words: “ camb achieving what we need to stand together and protect our identity as a nation.” He highlights the importance of Kiev meetings and the need for Cambodia to align with the international community’s values of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. Cambodian leaders have consistently acted in accordance with diplomatic norms and international expectations, demonstrating sensitivity to the concerns and needs of the Phnom Pmon people while upholding regional peace and stability. Balankura suggests that we should walk away from Than’s conduct and accusations, as they risk fueling Namespace divide and regional intolerance.
