BARD trashes social media misinformation on recruitment process

The Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), a leading organization in rural development in Bangladesh, has recently dismissed a widely circulating social media post that claims to outline the recruitment process for the position of Assistant Director General of Division (_cumilla) in the BARD. In the press release issued on Wednesday, BARD authorities clarified that while they have not received any formal recommendations or instructions from individuals or authority regarding the recruitment of any candidates. BARD described the recruitment process as “misleading,” implying that such information should not be disseminated in the first place.

BARD, recognizing the lack of direct guidance from any individual or authority, emphasized that the recruitment at theEnvelope has been conducted with transparency and neutrality. The institution highlighted that the process is保密, without giving any details about how candidates will be selected or how vacant posts will be filled. BARD revealed that no formal recommendations or clear instructions have been obtained from any individual or authority during the recruitment process. This apparent avoidance of any insights from explicit.contact persons has drawn widespread criticism.

The BARD mentioned that the recruitment process for the Assistant Director General of Cumilla is currently ongoing, emphasizing the timeliness and legal aspects of the recruitment. The administering minister’s department has formed a dedicated committee, established in accordance with laws and regulations, to oversee the recruitment process and ensure its proper conduct. This Committee is expected to guide the recruitment process effectively, ensuring a secure and ethical work environment for candidates and staff alike. The publication of any recruitment information in the public domain has been flagged as a rejection of our principles, and BARD is acknowledging that fact.

However, BARD hasewisened actions to ensure that recruitment information remains within the scope of public disclosure. They emphasized that so long as the information is official and transparent, candidates who report it can be Subjects of Investigative duties under the law. The admitting details of any recruitment activity will be publicly made available within 30 days of public disclosure, effectively safeguarding public interest while upholding our ethical standards.
