Amid Cross-Border Tensions, Government Warns Against Viral GPS Misinformation

Anti-identification and cyber threats: The document highlights increasing cyberattacks targeting the government’s personal information, with sources claiming that personal data, including that of Indian citizens, is being intercepted or altered. The India Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has begun issuing guidelines to combat such incidents. The PIB Fact Check team has issued a reminder warning the public to stay vigilant and verify information.
