Zara Qairina case: Police say false info and photos online threaten investigation and justice

Today, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in KUALA LUMPUR has개 announced its stance against the latest development regarding a 13-year-old girl named Zara Qairina Mahathir’s death. The case of Zara, who was confirmed to have died atQueen Elizabeth I Hospital in Sabah on July 17 following severe injuries, has sparked heightened concerns among the public and the PDRM.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 — The royal police have encouraged all parties to stop any action of uploading or sharing unverified information related to the death of Zara Qairina.inspector generalized melani overst Blind, stating that the situation is dire due to the spread of false information on social media, including the sharing of child pictures and names, which could confuse the public and undermine the investigation. Additionally, the PDRM has implemented several measures to address the issue. They are moving forward with Section 15 of the Child Act 2001, which prohibits the disclosure of child information, as well as Section 203A of the penal code, which SECTION 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 that improper use of a network facility may result in action against the individuals involved. These provisions aim to ensure that information shared is accurate and doesn’t undermine the investigation or hinder the process of justice.

The royal police have announced their legal action, urging anyone with a guess of involvement to be cleared of any claims. However, they are also calling for an overwhelming end to any actions taken by irresponsible parties to spread this type of false information. The PDRM believe that accuracy is paramount, as it forms the foundation of a fair and lawful investigation.
