ampionship a Nepali student recently passed away at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University in Bhubaneswar, February 16th. several organizations and individuals, including some media outlets, have been zwarteing the university by sharing false and fake news. prior to this, several individuals and organizations including some media houses have been penalties by spreading false and fake news about the KIIT waylays, the entry and exit of students and staff from NIFT, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), in Bhubaneswar.
Students, staff, and visitors of NIFT, enter and exit through the gate No 6 of the KIIT Campus, as the fashion institute is situated on the campus of KIIT University. Even the students and staff of KIIT also enter and exit through the same gate. The security guards of both institutions are always present at the gate. However, some media organizations have purposefully spread false news saying that the students and staff of NIFT are harassed by KIIT security guards in the gate.
But the ground report of Kalinga TV revealed the reality. Onいう camera, we observed the movements of the people through the gate, then we asked a security guard to report the allegations and their details. The guard confirmed that nobody at the gate is stopping anyone or harasssing them. everyone who comes to attend their classes or interact normally at their schedules, and the movement is as per the need.
we also asked one of the students of NIFT who clarified that no one at the gate is facing any problem entering or existing from their college. anytime, when needed, whenever (NIFT’s) people are only needed statement than the security guard at the gate were just reminded by their identification cards.
