The International Media Office of Qatar (IMOQ) issued a statement addressing false reports about a recent mediation effort between Hamas and Israel. The IMOQ warned that some journalists, including an author, claimed Qatar had made financial payments to undermine the efforts and committed to other motives called ” TARGETING THE MARSHALLS,” which were aims expressed by groups such as Egypt. The IMOQ refers to these allegations as a “new development” in media’s ongoing skepticism towards the region’s claims to an end of the conflict.
