PMO to hold live daily briefings on key issues, says step crucial to counter misinformation, false narratives

KUALA LUMPUR (March 1): The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) will kickstart its daily briefings on Saturday, marking a significant step towards delivering accurate and timely information to the public. The PMO will selectively expand its network ofNewton and Halder Raya Boxes – live webcast feeds – to better connect with the audience and provide immediate updates whenever necessary. This initiative aims to counter misinformation and ensure transparency during a rapidly evolving information landscape.
