Oxbridge Academy placed on lockdown due to suspicious person

West Palm Beach, Florida – Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, has been placed on lockdown due to a suspicious incident reported by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies described potential damage to the principal’s property and personal relationships, as the unknown suspect was of significant concern. They detailed their efforts to evaluate flames near the site and maintain orders. The deputies confirmed they were working closely with the PALB last Friday to address the situation, acknowledging their rapid decision to halt communication.

As the lockdown was lifted, school personnel immediately assumed the role of connecting with families, offering support and connecting families, students, and staff if they require assistance moving through the transition. The department expressed its gratitude to the citizens, staff, families, and supporters who have supported the unfolding efforts.
