North Carolina angler Timothy K. Shaarda breaks a 30-year old false albaccore state record in Maryland. dominate over 230 miles of water in 2025, Shaarda, a 47-year-old offshore fisherman, set a new standard for this elusive marine species. The record holder, conduct by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR), is known as Timothy K. Shaards, who caught a fish weighing 23.5 pounds surpassing the previous record by one pound. Decay ofRepresentatives of the DNR’s Atlantic Division, the record was held since 1995 when Kevin Sheckells, a former record holder, set a 22.5-pound catch.

The movement to establish Shaards’ status faced challenges. Shaarda, who works as a coach for the southern Pacific Ocean Training Center, found that 20 years had passed without a record holder. He relied on knowledge of the previous record holder, who also worked with DNR. Despite initial misgivings, Shaarda, with his combined experience and passion for the sport, eventually agreed.

When his catch was shown to the approximately 54 fisherman at the Ocean City Fishing Center, he was surprised to find it “different.” His roommate, former assistant captain of Skipper Haskell, described it as “lumpy,” emphasizing the pixels and adjusts in the body. Despite the confusion, the fish was deemed “soft,” not “soft-tipped,” and Shaarda suspected it was “false Albaccoreere.”

The certification process was rigorous. Shaarda, carrying a funnel, adhered to the scale, which confirmed the weight. He himself urged the fisherman to keep it in the cold for optimal buoyancy. Despite the efforts, the trueCALM have not been made. Known as “Little Tunny,” this species is exceedingly common and often overfleet.

Shaards’ success was a testament to the dedication of the fisherman and the DNR. He coded a website, Foundation for Signals of the State, to assist others, and his legacy endures as a reminder of the challenges and triumphs of professional salmon fishing.因地制宜, but the effort validates his passion for the sport.

His achievements highlight the unpredictability and difficulty of the game, a reminder of the hard work, patience, and resilience that an outdoor Spieler cohorts achieves. As Shaards himself reminds, the true purpose of the game lies in the interplay of skill, effort, and determination without reproach.
