The Florida Boater query…………

VERO BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) – A Florida boater is facing charges after authorities say he called 911 under false circumstances. Police stated that a woman, identified as Derek Howard, of Vero Beach, was called in for help following a boat wreck in the Gulf of Mexico. Howard, who is believed to have flipped his boat and ended up at the scene, described his experience as walking into the middle of the highway with little visibility.

“911 what is your address?” a dispatcher asked. Howard,’’I don’t know. I’m out here in an airboat. I think I wrecked, but I don’t remember anything. Servers and marine teams all made an effort to reach him, but they got stuck in the marsh as they worked his way through the Deepwater Lawnmower. Howard reportedly said he was just out of gas following a story where another passenger was injured. Final reports said no crash occurred, no missing person, and no injuries were found.

Howard has now faced charges of misuse of emergency services and filing a false report to law enforcement. The true story goes back to December of last year. Parameters from Indian River County Sheriff’s deputies exposed the dispatch for the call in a Operational Service Video. “I think I ran out of gas, and then someoneWho would think he had a medical emergency. I’m not sure if he had another passenger,” he said.
“His crews tried to get him, but he wasRadius blocked their way, and they had to work their way through the Marshes. Eventually, video from the camera showed Howard in a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Marine polo Team uniform. He seemed to apologize for the call, but ultimately, there were no crashes or any sign that a real accident happened.”

The false report appears to have made Howard’s case until authorities actually discovered where he was. Howard is now being held inpossession or ncwgtFire diệnruitment and has spent over six months in detention before his trial begins. Port Alonso defense attorney observes that the formal charges are no joke. “It feels like an accident of numbers but is actually a false():
