Father of Indian scholar arrested in US over Hamas link says ‘false narrative’ built to connect dots – Firstpost

The father of Indian scholar Badar Khan Suri, detained in the US and claimed to have falsely implicated his son in the formation of the Palestinian armed group Hamas after President Trump’s administration, assertion has been dismissed by Haji Shamshad Khan, a former faculty member of Georgetown University’s Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding. Khan stated on Point News that Suri has no connection to Hamas, did nothing wrong, and that his statements about Hamas being “infesimal” were incorrect. He denied any form of support for Hamas and other联系, claiming the allegations were “misleading narrative.” Khan’s family, including Haji Shamshad Khan’s wife, said he had not spoken to them since his arrest and relies on his wife, still in touch, for updates.
