On [20 January 2025], I informed the UK药品监管机构(MHRA)that patient information leaflets(PILs)for antidepressants, such as citalopram, contain false statements regarding a substance imbalance. These leaflets claim that these substances prevent mental疾病 by correcting imbalance. My report revealed that no such information exists, and this claim ignores scientific evidence. I educate the MHRA, highlighting that statements about how antidepressants work could be misleading.

Two months later, the MHRA responded, clarifying that descriptions are often oversimplified for easier understanding. I countered that misleading messages are made to assist patients, and proper information must be accessible. My report to the MHRA clarified that the text lacks specific mechanisms and drawbacks of the substance.

The MHRA issued additional reports, but I found their tone to mislead. I observed documents discussing mechanisms of action, which often overemphasized the drug’s effectiveness. These Reports became a myth, repackaged into lies to support misleading claims.

I documented these lies, categorizing them and noting their impact. After this, I proposed painting accurate and reliable information into PILs. I obtained expert insights through primary and secondary research, highlighting that theMHRA deserves accountability for failing to provide accurate information, especially in the face of multiple studies refuted the myth.

I concluded that mixing lies with facts and continuing to seek new strategies was a mistake. I and the MHRA formed a coalition to create a more truthful and comprehensive report. My goal was to integrate factual information with suspicion, challenging the narrative of监管 failure.

This session of work led to updates in forums and social media, setting strict guidelines to report responsibly. I learned that responsible regulations require accurate information and educational resources, particularly in light of ongoing advancements in medications.

I identified the importance of open dialogue to address persistent misinformation. This session also emphasized the need for continuous improvement in education,重塑 patient care, and highlight the growing cost of such issues.

Ultimately, my intention was to shift attention from promoting false claims to delivering genuine, reliable information. This journey taught me the balance between honesty and accessibility, the ever-changing nature of healthcare, and the necessity of constant education.
