Russia is strengthening its influence in Latin America under the guise of cultural cooperation – NSDC Center for Countering Disinformation

The Russian Federation is embracing a divide with its actions in Latin America, specifically focusing on the cultural and educational cooperation that can spread its influence. In 2021, the Russian Film Festival, organized in Havana by the Russian states like Roskino and the Ministry of Culture, began showcasing films that reflect traditional values.
