This movement reflects the continent’s organizational commitment to ensuring AI innovation while considering regional security and public trust.

African society, while growing, lacks the skilled workforce to effectively manage AI risks. The economic stakes of AI are significant, but deepfake technology’s manipulative nature poses a unique challenge.
