If you’ve landed on MediaPost today expecting your usual daily mix of media, marketing, and advertising news, you may have noticed that the site is temporarily down for maintenance. Before you click away, let us reassure you: this is not a goodbye, and it’s certainly not a pause in the conversation. It’s more like walking into your favorite local bookstore one morning and finding the lights on, the doors open, and the owner cheerfully rearranging the shelves. The books are still there, the stories are still waiting, and the familiar, welcoming atmosphere hasn’t gone anywhere—it’s just being polished, organized, and made easier to browse. That’s exactly what we’re doing at MediaPost. We’re giving our digital home a behind-the-scenes upgrade, a little more breathing room, and a stronger foundation so that when we open the doors again, everything feels faster, brighter, and more useful for the community that has supported us for so long. We know that your time is valuable, and we know that media and marketing professionals depend on MediaPost to help them make sense of a fast-moving industry. That’s not something we take lightly. So while our main newsroom is being refreshed, we wanted to make sure you know exactly how to stay connected, where to find the content you love, and the many ways you can still engage with the MediaPost community. Because even in the middle of maintenance, our commitment to keeping you informed and inspired never stops.

Let’s talk about the ways you can keep up with us while the site is offline. First, all of our event sites are still very much live. These aren’t placeholder pages or static reminders; they are vibrant, active hubs filled with information about upcoming gatherings, agendas, speakers, and opportunities to register. If you’ve been curious about an upcoming summit or conference, now is a great time to explore those event pages, learn more about what’s on the horizon, and even plan your travel. Think of it as a backstage pass to the very best of what MediaPost makes possible—real people, real conversations, and real learning. Second, for those who prefer to listen rather than read, our Spotify library is waiting for you. We’ve spent a lot of time talking with some of the smartest minds in the industry, and those conversations are available for you to stream anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re commuting, taking a walk, or just looking for inspiration to start your day, our audio content is a wonderful way to get your MediaPost fix. It’s like having a cup of coffee with some of the sharpest voices in the business, no matter where you are. And third, we’re still very much alive on LinkedIn. While our website is being upgraded, LinkedIn is the place to go for fresh media, marketing, and advertising news, as well as thoughtful commentary and community conversation. Follow us there, and you won’t miss a beat. You’ll find updates on what’s happening in the industry, behind-the-scenes looks at our events, and content designed to keep you sharp, informed, and ready for whatever comes next. We haven’t gone quiet—we’ve just changed where we’re raising our voice for a moment.

Looking ahead, the calendar for the rest of 2026 is packed with incredible events, and we’d love for you to join us. We’re starting with the Brand Insider Summit: Travel & Hospitality in Austin, Texas, running from September 28 through October 1, where leaders from the travel and hospitality world will gather to explore new strategies, emerging trends, and the future of brand storytelling in a sector built on experience. From there, we head to Napa Valley for the Brand Insider Summit: Luxury, October 19–22, an event that brings together the very best in premium branding, craftsmanship, and consumer connection, all set against one of the most beautiful backdrops in the country. Then it’s on to Santa Barbara for two consecutive gatherings: the Brand Insider Summit: QSR, taking place November 15–18, and the Brand Insider Summit: CPG, running November 18–21. These events are designed for the people who are shaping the way we eat, shop, and live—leaders from quick-service restaurants and consumer packaged goods brands who understand that brand loyalty is won through every detail, every taste, and every experience. On November 19, we’ll be in Los Angeles for Marketing Automotive, an event dedicated to the changing face of automotive marketing and the technology and creativity driving it forward. And then, as the year winds down, we’ll head to Park City, Utah, for a trio of insider summits that have become something of a tradition: the Email Insider Summit from December 6–9, the TV & Video Insider Summit from December 9–12, and the Performance Marketing Insider Summit from December 13–16. Each of these events is more than just a conference; it’s a chance to step away from the everyday and think deeply with peers, mentors, and collaborators about where the industry is headed next.

Of course, we also want to take a moment to celebrate the events that have already concluded over the past few months. The Planning and Buying Insider Summit took place in Chicago from September 8–11, and it was an incredible gathering of media strategists and buyers who are reimagining how brands connect with audiences. Before that, we traveled to Olympic Valley for the Data & Programmatic Insider Summit from August 16–19, where data leaders came together to talk about the power of insights, the ethics of targeting, and the future of programmatic advertising. The Brand Insider Summit: Retail took place in the same beautiful location from August 12–15, bringing together some of the most innovative minds in retail to talk about everything from customer experience to digital transformation. Earlier in the summer, we enjoyed the Brand Insider Summit: Pharma & Health in Park City from July 29 through August 1, where we explored the unique challenges and opportunities of marketing in healthcare, a space where trust and accuracy matter more than ever. And just before that, the Brand Insider Summit: Sports Marketing was also in Park City, running from July 26–29, celebrating the power of sports to bring people together and build lasting emotional connections with brands. We also made our way to Nashville for two fantastic gatherings: the Brand Insider Summit: Financial Services from May 31 through June 3, where leaders in banking, insurance, and fintech discussed navigating a rapidly evolving landscape, and the Out of Home Insider Summit from May 27–30, which celebrated the enduring power of the physical world in advertising. To everyone who attended, spoke, sponsored, or supported these events, we thank you. You are the reason we do this work, and the energy, ideas, and connections created at these summits are exactly what fuels our mission to serve the industry.

So why all this maintenance? Why now? We believe that a platform built to serve the media and marketing community should itself reflect the values of that community: clarity, innovation, and reliability. The upgrade we’re undertaking is more than just a technical refresh; it’s a promise. We’re working to make our website faster, more intuitive, and more accessible, with better navigation, stronger functionality, and an experience that feels worthy of the people who visit us every day. We know that in a world of constant information, everyone is fighting for attention, and simply putting content online isn’t enough. The experience of finding that content should be seamless, thoughtful, and even delightful. That’s what we’re building toward. We’re also thinking about the future: how we can better support our events, how we can surface the most important stories more quickly, and how we can foster even deeper conversations within the community. This pause is intentional. It’s a chance for us to step back, take stock, and rebuild with our readers and partners in mind. It’s also a reminder that even the most reliable sources need a little care from time to time. Just as we tell brands to listen to their customers and adapt to their needs, we’re doing the same for you. We want MediaPost to be the place you turn to not just because of the news we cover, but because of how it feels to be here. And we know that the best way to deliver on that promise is to be willing to improve, to grow, and to invest in the experience behind the screen.

In the meantime, please don’t feel like you’re left in the dark. Wander through our event pages, catch up on our podcasts, and follow us on LinkedIn for the latest updates from the world of media, marketing, and advertising. If you’ve been thinking about joining us at one of our upcoming summits, now is the perfect time to explore the agendas and make your plans. If you’re looking for inspiration, our audio library is always open. And if you simply want to stay in touch, we’d love to hear from you. We know that maintenance can be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. But we also hope you see it as what it really is: a sign of how much we care. We care enough to pause, to improve, and to come back stronger. We care enough to make sure that when you visit us again, you’ll notice the difference in every click, every scroll, and every conversation. MediaPost has always been about more than just headlines; it’s about building community, sharing knowledge, and bringing people together. That mission hasn’t changed, and it never will. So thank you for sticking with us. Thank you for being part of this journey. We’ll be back as soon as the upgrade is complete, and when we return, we hope you’ll be right there with us—ready to discover, connect, and move the industry forward together. See you very soon.
