machinespig zuDestroy specialized threats and manipulate public information, while urban experts are increasingly reliant on such tools. In recent months, the anti-fake news center (AFNC) has seen massive growth, faced severe public backlash, and faced a viral explosion of the most massive stories on social media. Below is a concise overview of the AFNC’s role in addressing the challenges of misinformation in the 21st century.

The AFNC has emerged as a key technology partnership of the digital economy in Thailand, with its goal to reduce the risks of fake news and instability in powerful narratives. Since 2019, the center has established itself as a pillar in the global fight against disinformation by leveraging a network of over 300 organizations, state and private entities, civil society, and media outlets. The center categorizes misinformation into five primary types: consolidation of violating government policies, illegal activities, economic mis Reporting, natural disasters, and online threats.

The AFNC provides a comprehensive platform for public access to truthful information, allowing individuals and businesses alike to obtain reliable data and insights before falling victim to scams or compromising public trust. Currently, users access the center through its website (which has garnered nearly 28 million views), its Line official account (with around 2.8 million followers), and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. On top of that, the center partnered with Thai government agencies and public concerns to create a comprehensive intelligence network.

One of the tools that has overcrowded the AFNC is the rain with the os a application, which has been used to issue alerts to users to combat online scams and fake news. Between 2022 and 2023, this application has issued over 235 million alerts, surpassing previous records. Additionally, partnerships have been forged with influential institutions like Thai banks and media networks to disseminate information about fake news. The AFNC has also prepared for its future by signing a Memorandum of Understanding ( accessed through a document(generator of ethical and truthful information for the public) with the Thai Media Fund, a programme aimed at improving media literacy.

Looking ahead, the AFNC sees potential in incorporating advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the verification and dissemination of news reports. By leveraging AI, the center aims to quickly assess whether information is reliable or whether it has been manipulated. These efforts are expected to significantly reduce the losses caused by people falling victim to scams and false reporting. The AFNC’s proactive approach is intended to harness media storytelling as a tool to drive a moreCommercialish society and global consciousness.
