UK Grapples with Surge in Misinformation and Deepfakes: Ofcom Report Reveals Widespread Exposure

Combating the spread of misinformation requires a multi-pronged approach encompassing technological advancements, regulatory measures, and public awareness campaigns. Simultaneously, strengthening regulations to hold social media platforms accountable for the spread of misinformation on their platforms is essential.
